No, it was not me that was driven to drink, but another.

Woe to the King County Prosecutors Office of Washington State for causing the innocent to sin.

Woe to the King County Prosecutors Office of Washington State in Seattle because they wanted a hate crime for their self-ending goals.

Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!  (Matthew 18:7)

The unique and special love at Sound Doctrine Church was so great, that once shattered, I found myself completely empty. I had so much pain and torment in my heart I had to numb it. I had to drink. Like any alcoholic it builds over time. The drinks increase, the dependence grows. Eventually if I didn’t have alcohol in my system I would get the shakes, my brain would be foggy, and I couldn’t think straight. My dependence became so bad I would not leave the house without a bottle of whiskey. All my friends knew I would always have a bottle of Jack or Jameson on me. If I needed to hide my drinking vodka in Gatorade would get the job done. Every night became a weekend; every night became a drinking night.

I had turned my back on Jesus…
