Yet again, another attempt, to vote on another version of a health care plan.

I don’t know about you but I am getting ill just listening to the news about the new health care plan. Another health care plan we all know will still be imperfect. We all understand that doctors never cure anything, they just postpone.

Praise God His health plan works and cures. His health care plan hasn’t changed since the world was created – it is a sure winner. But you have to sign up.

God’s health care plan is:

  1. Only for those willing to admit they are as sick as the tests shows.
  2. Only for the humble who desire a promise to be made well for eternity.
  3. Only for those who are willing to pay the premium of all so as to gain everything.

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”  (Mark 2:17)

Lesson:

Those who understand sickness and getting well will instruct you to “Get plenty of rest.”

In the same way if you come to God there will be times when He calls you to get plenty of rest. No gimmicks, no schemes, no stinky medicine – just rest.

However, you would be surprised at how many of those claiming the Name don’t want to repent or rest in order to be made well. They do not desire times of deep conviction over their sin nor rest and quietness. The vast majority of sinners are either too good to desire being made well, or demand placebo preachers and entertainment worship on their terms.

This is what the Sovereign Lord , the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.” (Isaiah 30:15)

Before I was ran out of the town of Enumclaw Wa., as the Lord directed “I” would often cancel Sunday church services so that everyone could stay at home resting in the Lord. (see Sitting Before The Lord)

Not only was church on Sunday an all day thing, services were at 1:30 in the afternoon so everyone could give their best to the Lord, but there were times when meeting at the church building for services was called off so that everyone could “rest” in the salvation of God.

I know, I know, what a terrible thing it was to “have to” stay home and rest in the Lord – but such was the leadership at Sound Doctrine Church. Now mock away you mockers. 2The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down- (Isaiah 29:20)

Bonus:

If you want the salvation of Jesus you will have to follow Him when He is working conviction of sin and when He is directing you to rest. Just all part of hating your own life for Jesus, (John 12:25).

Aw, but you might have to submit to such godly leadership – ugh!4It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up (Ephesians 4:11-12)

“We’re going to get health care down to the floor of the House,” he added. “We’re convinced we’ve got the votes and we’re going to keep moving on with our agenda.”
During a separate interview on “CBS This Morning,” Priebus was also asked if a health care bill will happen this week.
“I certainly hope so,” he said. “I think it will happen this week,” adding that it would be “one of the fastest pieces of signature legislation to go through for a president since Roosevelt.”
