I guess it really is tough these days finding someone that is in love as much with yourself as you are. That is the trouble with self-love – everyone can only see themselves.

It really is a Sherlock Holmes mystery why no one asked Priscilla Samey to the prom.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, boastful, proud…  (2 Timothy 3:1-2)

Bonus:

Godly relationships look like this: Each person is 100% serving the other.

A marriage based on equality, upon God’s love, is the husband and wife are 100% servants to the other partner. Each gives up their lives for the other.3and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. (Mark 10:44)

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery–but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”   (Ephesians 5:31-33)

Oh, I didn’t say you see this much.  There are just too many self-help books in the church instead of the picked up cross of Jesus.
