Mark Zuckerberg: Facebook can play a role that churches and Little League once filled

“It’s so striking that for decades, membership in all kinds of groups has declined as much as one-quarter,” he said during a rally for Facebook users who’ve built large community-support groups on the site. “That’s a lot of of people who now need to find a sense of purpose and support somewhere else.”  – Mark Zuckerberg

Preacher Mark Zuckerberg is pounding the pulpit for his idol that was created called Facebook.

Use to be, around 40 or 50 years ago the Cultural Christian Church at least looked at the Bible – now, even that has been replaced by the idol called Facebook.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life. (John 5:39-40)

If you want the life Jesus offers, put down the Facebook and pick-up your cross to follow Him.

Lesson:

“A church doesn’t just come together. It has a pastor who cares for the well-being of their congregation, makes sure they have food and shelter. A little league team has a coach who motivates the kids and helps them hit better. Leaders set the culture, inspire us, give us a safety net, and look out for us.” – Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg

Funny, always thought the Christian Church, you know the one Jesus started, and maintains, was about repentance.

In fact, Jesus rebuked, sent away, got rid of and shooed off those who were following Him just for the pot luck dinner. Since Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, er, Minister of Justice Dan Satterberg* loves Facebook it is no wonder he destroyed Sound Doctrine Church, aka, Timothy Williams. After all Sound Doctrine Church wasn’t about food, flattery or getting comfort from the preacher.

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, you are looking for me, not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.” (John 6:26)

Bonus:

The people’s false-prophet is quickly becoming emboldened.

Don’t say you were not warned as Mr. Zuckerberg just told you that the he is going to change Facebook’s whole mission.

Bringing people closer together is so important that “we’re going to change Facebook’s whole mission to take this on,” Zuckerberg said in Chicago.

He added, “People who go to church are more likely to volunteer and give to charity — not just because they’re religious, but because they’re part of a community.”

Zuckerberg thinks Facebook can help, using its networking power to organize people.

“A church doesn’t just come together. It has a pastor who cares for the well-being of their congregation, makes sure they have food and shelter. A little league team has a coach who motivates the kids and helps them hit better. Leaders set the culture, inspire us, give us a safety net, and look out for us.”
Zuckerberg has now had six months to study how some savvy Facebook users, reportedly including Russian hackers, turned the internet platform he built into an online machine that spread fake news and helped elect Donald Trump as President — whom he snubbed this week.
