Regret – ‘I SABOTAGED MY LIFE’ – Eric Clapton

Regret – ‘I SABOTAGED MY LIFE’ – Eric Clapton

A man’s own folly ruins his life, … (Proverbs 19:3)

It is Eric Clapton’s own damn fault that he is damned.

The legendary rock guitarist, who has publicly fought addictions to cocaine, heroin, prescription drugs and alcohol, said that although he is grateful to be alive, he has been debilitated by his illness. – The Daily Mail

‘I SABOTAGED MY LIFE’ Rock legend Eric Clapton on his life’s amazing highs and appalling lows from drugs and drink, to racism and womanising in new documentary.

I FEEL DISGUSTED . . . Clapton says what he said in the past was shocking and unforgivable – The Sun

Every individual who does not live a life of godly sorrow repentance will regret the life they lived.

Washington State Prosecutor Dan Satterberg

Such will regret:

  • sexual immorality
  • self-righteous judgments
  • slander and hate crimes
  • impurity, rough humor
  • power lusts and destructions
  • fights, quarrels, and arguments
  • lies, liking liars and being a Prosecutor will all be a deep regret.

Unrepentant individuals will feel “disgusted” and “unforgivable” for eternity so give me a chance to point a few things out before you go your way into ever more sinning.

There is no pleasure derived from hell and brimstone preaching. Indeed, if I could move you to repent without any mention of judgment, hell and brimstone better would be my joy in Jesus. Unlike King County Prosecutor Lisa Johnson of Washington State I get no “happy” feelings making individuals sorrowful. But then again I have the Living God putting to death such sinful perverted emotions. [*]

That said, whether you agree with Sound Doctrine Church aka Timothy Williams or anything else on enumclaw.com know this: if you do not repent you will regret and regret and regret and regret…

Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it. Though I did regret it–I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while– yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance.

For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.

Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. (2 Corinthians 7:8-10)

Eric Clapton needs to take warning, serious warning now that he is 71 years old.

It is true that Eric Clapton will be A Forever Man.

A Forever Man in hell or heaven.

Repent ye therefore Mr. Clapton.

Warning:

Eric Clapton hit rock bottom, wanting to commit suicide yet found a renewal of strength in another lie – another bottle of intoxication.

Eric Clapton placed his hopes, his new joys and sense of self in the birth and life of his son. A son that like the bottle proved to be another empty bottle.

God allowing, or removing the hope of Mr. Clapton’s son was a sorrow that should not have led to a top-selling self-pitying song but of selfless repentance toward the Living God.

Mr. Clapton refused God’s point and is now more entangled in sin than he was as a dope addict.

You were wearied by all your ways, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint. (Isaiah 57:10)

Eric Clapton found or rather was trapped in a big hit of a song, a tempory high to the “disgust” and “unforgivenness” he feels.

Many, though claiming to be Christian found their fix in Cultural Christianity – nothing new, nor special about embracing a lie.

“I realised there was a way to turn this dreadful tragedy into something positive. That I would consider living my life from this point on to honour the memory of my son.” A year later he released his biggest US hit, Tears In Heaven, which is about Conor’s death, and in 1998 he founded a rehab clinic, the Crossroads Centre, on Antigua. – Eric Clatpon

Bonus:

Notice how odd it is that self-confessed Federal crimes of illegal drug use by Eric Clapton is ignored, even musically endorsed, by King County Prosecutors yet motivating individuals to break immigration Federal Laws goes hand-n-hand with set-up prosecutions without any evidence against Bible-based Christians …very odd indeed.
