Looking For Love

Looking For Love

Your zodiac sign’s guide to love.

Knowing what makes someone a good love match for you, according to astrology, (or a bad one) can either be very obvious or almost impossible to know for sure. Of course, people will say that if you really get to know someone on an intimate basis, you’ll definitely know, but that’s not always the case.

Love is not found by looking to the stars but beyond such lights.

Who is this that appears like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, majestic as the stars in procession? (Song of Solomon 6:10)

How can a person find true love?

How do you know if it is lust or true love?

How come so many marriages, shack-ups and hook-ups go south?

How come there are so many divorces? (Besides the fact it is big cash’ola for lawyers and the state.)

What is the safest way, the wisest manner, the optimal place to discover a soul mate? (Aside the bars which as the song says is looking for love in all the wrong places.)

Let me skip the questions, as there are a gazillion movies with such questions for your popcorn viewing pleasure available on-line to enjoy.

Lesson of Truth:

Here is the only answer you will ever need: Look to the God that stands waiting and ready to reveal your true love to you.

Look to God and not only will this keep you from the deceptive lie called lust but then your faith and trust will never be in the person you married but in the Living God who brought you together. How God works these arrangements is varied and could not possibly be covered in a web post. It is enough to know God is there for you if you will surrender to Him in Jesus.

Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman, ‘ for she was taken out of man.” (Genesis 2:22-23)

Points to Ponder:

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:16)

  1. God is love. Pure love. Powerful love.
  2. God is the only source for there to be true love.
  3. God’s love in a person’s life is pure, passionate and other person driven.

To cut through the Cultural Christianity and save you some marriage therapy time and how to have a happy marriage book money here is how to have a godly marriage that is filled with joy.

Ready for the offense of the cross?

Well, here is the secret to true love, a true soul mate relationship and the only way to love in a marriage – live as though you are not married.

What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; (1 Corinthians 7:29)

Now this should get me invited to a lot of marriage seminars.

Bonus Wisdom:

Relax, you don’t have to bother working on your marriage.

Be at rest, at peace and stop attempting to make a relationship work.

Rather, work only on your relationship with God and you are guaranteed what you need and need-to-be will follow.

You will have selfless love for that significant other, you will have peace even in turmoil and above all you will be faithful even if they are not.

Why? How?

Because God is love, the only source and hope for love on earth. Indeed it is what heaven is all about – the powerful love of God manifested in all.

This love is a filling.

This God-given love is a powerful steadfast outside a person’s ability experience.

This love that comes from God is a glorious experience and an inexpressible daily matter if one will hate their own life. (John 12:25)

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, (1 Peter 1:8)

The joy, the inexpressible joy is mine, but it can be yours also as I am nothing special – just look in the right place.

Song performed by the late Keith Green: You Put This Love In My Heart

I found it hard to believe
Someone like You cared for me
You put this love in my heart!
I tried but could not refuse
You came in no time to choose
You put this love in my heart!

I wanna know where the bad feelings go
When I’m depressed and I get down so low
And then I see you coming for me
And it’s alright…

I wanna know where the bad feelings go
When I’m depressed and I get down so low
And then I see You coming for me
And it’s alright

You put this love in my heart!

(yourtango.com)—

I spent a lifetime lookin’ for you
Single bars and good time lovers were never true
Playing a fools game, hopin’ to win
And tellin’ those sweet lies and losin’ again.Chorus
I was lookin’ for love in all the wrong places
Lookin’ for love in too many faces
Searchin’ their eyes, lookin’ for traces
Of what I’m dreamin’ of
Hoping to find a friend and a lover
I’ll bless the day I discover,
Another heart- lookin’ for love.
