FBI Warning & Prayer
“The sharing of child exploitative images – regardless of intention – is harmful and illegal,” Facebook’s media team said in a statement.
Facebook users began sharing the video after receiving it through Facebook Messenger in hopes to find the man and get help for the young girl. However, the FBI warned users not to circulate the video as, despite the reasons for doing so, those sharing the child porn video could face criminal charges. – River Valley Leader

FBI correctly warns that viewing child exploitative images is 1st “harmful” and 2nd “illegal.”
Which brings us to our 2 points.
- It is worse than harmful, it is sinful.
- Pray for the protection of FBI agents from corruption.
Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. (Romans 16:19)
There is, for the average non-FBI person no need to know anything about child exploitation. Indeed, what is to know? Know this that knowing details about exploiting children is a sin damnable to hell. It will defile and damn you.
A major reason why knowing is harmful is that it defiles the person doing the viewing. Those who disguise purine interests as good intentions while examining wicked activities run the very real risk of enticing themselves to commit further sins they lust for in their life.
In short, whether or not you exploit a child or not you will sink deeper into your life of sin. In fact, you may fall into the trap of exploiting a child all because you thought you needed to know.
It is no easy thing to help others trapped in sin.
Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Galatians 6:1)
The desire to know good from evil, the enticement with the false-justification that some good can arrive by knowing about evil was the lie presented to the first married couple, Adam and Eve. And we all know who their children turned out.
If you want to be able to spot evil then be an expert at goodness and holy in all your ways.
Fact is when someone is trained to spot counterfeit money they are taught to study the genuine article first. Likewise, be an expert on what is holy, just and true before every attempting to deal with what is unholy, unjust or false.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2) [*]
There are officials, in this case, the FBI that must view such vile images and deal face to face with individuals who commit crimes against God’s most humble of creations.
The FBI must be prayed for that they too will not be defiled and become unclean in their God-given duty. Much of the corruption in the legal system can be traced to the constant, day in and day out having to come into contact with criminals – both outside the office and inside the halls of justice.
Unless the blood of Jesus is active, moving and taking away the corruption of sin in a person’s life the individual will die spiritually. Just as when blood in your body stops moving your dead.
Pray for the FBI to have the cleansing of God in their official duties so that the filth of criminals and legal system rot are carried away by divine protection.
In short, pray for the health of the FBI.
