Turning Point : Sexual Assault

Turning Point : Sexual Assault

Washington Examiner :

Outnumbered by the out-of-control, and worried for the safety of their charges, one staffer remembers approaching Turning Point executives Charlie Kirk and Tyler Bowyer after the first night. Could they hire West Palm Beach deputies to police the hotel lobbies? “I was scared these kids were going to die in the pool,” the staffer explains. The answer from Bowyer, the COO of the organization? “It just wasn’t worth it,” she says, “I think those were his exact words: ‘It wasn’t worth it.’”…

…Other similar allegations have arisen regarding another Turning Point conference, and at still another event to which Turning Point brought students. None of these allegations have been either proven or disproven — the issue is how Turning Point handles these allegations. Or doesn’t. 1Turning Point USA struggles with allegations of student sexual assault, harassment by Philip Wegmann

Note:

The article is so poorly written one cannot be sure who is tipsy, drunk or sober. Could be wrong but the assumption must be inferred that “much alcohol” was flowing into everyone’s mouths. If not, the question has to be asked: Why then did the sober individuals not go to their hotel rooms and lock the doors?

The question is not what is being done when reporting sexual assault to staffers but why isn’t drunkness that leads to the sexual assault in such organizations not restricted?

But, alas, just as King County Prosecutors of Seattle Washington will knowingly commit crimes by letting a house of prostitution (massage parlor) remain in business while sending to prison a man that behaved badly towards such prostitutes, so too, poorly constructed rules of responsibility are built upon a false foundation for the sinful advantage of someone.

For the love of your son and daughter turn off the HBO path…

For the love of your son and daughter turn off the Netflix path…

For the love of your son and daughter turn off the Public School path…

For the love of your son and daughter turn off the Government path…

For the love of your son and daughter turn off the Prosecutors Office path…

For the love of your son and daughter teach and demand they walk safely on a sound path…

For the love of your son and daughter turn off unsafe roads and take only ways that are a firm path.

Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. (Proverbs 4:26)

What?!

Clearly, the Turning Point is when non-reality has been spun around as something real.

The school is supposed to provide police so that your daughter can get drunk as a skunk?

The turning point is that being able to vomit safely is now a responsibility of the State? – please – get a reality check.

Such abysmal logic, with apologies to the word logic, is sheer madness.

Women can get drunk, swish around the hotel room, pass out while debasing themselves but it is only the men who are too remain sober while drunk?

Uh, reality to the citizens of earth. One cannot behave soberly while drunk.

If your daughter wants to keep hands out of her pants then she should stay sober, diligent and above all morally chase.

The “female Turning Point staffer” should not have gotten drunk and if choosing to debauch herself has no right to expect males who debauched themselves to behave soberly when intoxicated. This has to be explained?

Gesh, how does such “female Turning Point staffer” know she did not invite hands in her pants when she was drunk?

And these also stagger from wine and reel from beer: Priests and prophets stagger from beer and are befuddled with wine; they reel from beer, they stagger when seeing visions, they stumble when rendering decisions.

All the tables are covered with vomit and there is not a spot without filth. (Isaiah 28:7-8)

Men immediately after a night of drunkness file a sexual harassment complaint against any girl that made advances to invite.

After all, now the turning point onto stupidity lane has been made, he or she who files a complaint first wins.

One cannot wait until the security guards are complained against for not stopping drunken fools from sexual advancing themselves upon each other — this is gonna be fun to watch.

Remember all of this “news” is from the Washington Examiner.

Who is the Editor in charge of reasonable logic?

Clearly, the Editor is on vacation but then again I was not aware that moral Nethanderals could write.

[ Bonus Wisdom ]

To warn the dumbed down stupid: drinking alcohol impairs judgment and you could easily put your hands down someone’s pants or invite a handyman to do his work when drunk.

No one, repeat no one has an obligation to protect you when intoxicating yourself.

The above is what advice fathers and mothers use to enforce upon their daughters.

gesh!

Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path.

Do not join those who drink too much wine or gorge themselves on meat, for drunkards and gluttons become poor, and drowsiness clothes them in rags. (Proverbs 23:19-21)

Of course nit-wit Washington Examiner. If someone is assaulted they should go to the police. It is not staffer responsibility to file a non-due-process complaint for the accuser. The non-due-process is for the police and prosecutors office to set into motion.

Stop being a baby that needs a babysitter and become an adult that first doesn’t place oneself in danger and secondly seeks out experts for real problems when they do occur.

After all, I am not equipped to handle cancer – go see a doctor!

(washingtonexaminer.com)—Speaking on condition of anonymity for fear for legal reprisals, two former staffers say they know of “two or three” allegations of sexual assault that have occurred at TPUSA events since its 2012 founding. “Most of the incidents happen in hotel rooms, and the problem is that these are hotel rooms we pay for,” one says. “They happen at night and they happen with a lot of alcohol involved.”

The former staffers describe impromptu parties in hotel rooms rivaling those of college fraternities but without the faculty, without the campus security, and without the same accountability. “The staff cannot handle it. They’re 20 years old,” another former staffer complains, noting that some are “not even old enough to drink themselves, let alone take care of drunk students.”

They also weren’t equipped to deal with the distraught student whom one staffer says reported sexual assault last December. “I told her if she thought she was truly assaulted she needed to call the cops and, if she was raped, she needed to go to the hospital,” the staffer remembers. They didn’t even think to record the girls name because “when she came up it was so hectic that no one knew what to do.”
