Let us hope that President Trump is able to keep his word on the matter of free speech.

These tech giants are utility companies and should be treated as such.

Google, Twitter, and Facebook are massive companies with the express purpose of transmitting other’s ideas. They are giant phone companies. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just as the phone company cannot censor what you declare, so too, these tech giants are monopolizing an infrastructure built by all Americans with the express purposes of moving ideas around the county.

In order to be able to answer someone, we have to be able to listen to their point of view. Google, Facebook, and Twitter are cutting off, or answering without listening. Such is their folly and shame.

Thus it is time to regulate them for what they are – a phone utility company meant to serve all in a community.

To answer before listening— that is folly and shame. Proverbs 18:13

[ Sub-Note ]

Until monopoly laws are enforced it is time, right now, all political office holders, those running for office and anyone running for or employed by the Government should be barred from using Facebook and Twitter because it’s very nature excludes free speech.

We the people need easy access to communicate with government officials and if no voter id is required to vote, there certainly should be unfettered access to communicate with government authorities.

Just as the Post Office does not censor letters and these tech monopolies are censoring communication it is time for Judges and Legislators to stop government officials from using these restricted methods of communication.

Not everyone is thrilled about giving over highly personal information to be abused by Facebook just to be able to interact with government officials and agencies.

In short, King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg should not be permitted to use Facebook or Twitter on any level because they suppress and intimidate opposing ideas. But, then, now we know why Seattle’s own King County Prosecutor relishes using Facebook and such.

(breitbart.com)—President Donald Trump vowed to stand for free speech on Thursday, warning Big Tech against censoring conservative voices.
“I’ve made it clear that we as a country cannot tolerate political censorship, blacklisting, and rigged search results,” Trump said, calling out social media companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter.

The president commented on the issue at his campaign rally in Indiana on Thursday night, ahead of the midterm elections in November.

Trump said his administration would always stand up for free speech for “all Americans,” warning the left that their own voices could someday be censored.

“We will not let large corporations silence conservative voices,” he said.

Trump suggested that such activities were un-American, reiterating the principle of free speech.

“We’re not going to let them control what we can and cannot see, read, and learn from, we can’t do that,” Trump said. “America is a free country and we’re going to stay always a free country.
