World Stamp Show Stamps

In 2016, the U.S. Postal Service® continues a nearly century-long tradition of commemorating international philatelic exhibitions held every decade in the United States with specially designed issuances: stamps, souvenir sheets, and even covers. This year, the Postal Service™ celebrates World Stamp Show-NY 2016, an eight-day philatelic extravaganza that runs from May 28-June 4, 2016, in New York City, with the issuance of an elegant folio presenting two panes of stamps reminiscent of classic engraved 19th-century newspaper periodical stamps and banknotes. Touched on the topic early this week, but let us build a bit upon the foundation.

The United States Postal Service hit the mark with these stamps in 2016. Great quality, nice emboss texture. A great stamp for remembering that one’s address on planet earth is no mistake.

  • Your spot in time…
  • Your spot in time at the address where you reside…
  • Your spot in time at the address where you reside is no random, or evolutionary, freak act of nature.

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.

From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.

God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.  (Acts 17:24-27)

Warning: What you do at your address – well – that is your choice – good or bad.
