So that everyone he has made may know his work, he stops all people from their labor. Job 37:7
CHICAGO (AP) — A winter storm blanketed much of the central Midwest with snow on Sunday at the end of the Thanksgiving weekend, bringing blizzard-like conditions that grounded hundreds of flights and forced the closure of major highways on one of the busiest travel days of the year.
“It’s going to be messy,” said Todd Kluber, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service who is based in suburban Chicago.
With much of the central plains and Great Lakes region under blizzard or winter storms warnings, roughly 600 flights headed to or from the U.S. had been canceled as of 2 p.m. Sunday, according to the flight-tracking website FlightAware. American Airlines said it canceled 200 flights — including its regional partners — or about three percent of the airline’s global operation. It warned that addtional cancelations and/or delays are possible when the storm begins to impact the airline’s hub at O’Hare International Airport.
United Airlines, which also has a hub at O’Hare, is cancelling some flights Opens a New Window. , and expects the number to increase as the storm develops.
Most were supposed to be routed through Chicago or Kansas City — areas forecast to be hit hard by the storm.
Strong winds and snow created blizzard conditions across much of Nebraska and parts of Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. The National Weather Service was warning those conditions would make travel difficult in places.” – [ Hundreds of flights canceled as Midwest braces for snowstorm | Fox Business ]

God’s message is blowning in the snowy wind.
“At this also my heart trembles, and leaps out of its place. Listen, listen to the thunder of his voice and the rumbling that comes from his mouth. Under the whole heaven he lets it loose, and his lightning to the corners of the earth. After it his voice roars; he thunders with his majestic voice and he does not restrain the lightnings when his voice is heard. God thunders wondrously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.
For to the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth’; and the shower of rain, his heavy shower of rain, serves as a sign on everyone’s hand, so that all whom he has made may know it.
Then the animals go into their lairs and remain in their dens. From its chamber comes the whirlwind, and cold from the scattering winds.
By the breath of God ice is given, and the broad waters are frozen fast. He loads the thick cloud with moisture; the clouds scatter his lightning. They turn round and round by his guidance, to accomplish all that he commands them on the face of the habitable world. Whether for correction, or for his land, or for love, he causes it to happen. Job 37:1-13
His icy blast is either to correct or bless a life – it is up to you.

“No planes landing at KCI, airfield closed for poor visibility in blizzard conditions
By Robert A. Cronkleton
Planes were not able to land at Kansas City International Airport Sunday afternoon after blizzard conditions reduced visibility to less than a 1/4 mile.
In a tweet at about 2:30 p.m., the airport reported that the airfield was closed to arrivals because of the weather. Airport crews continued to plow and sweep runways and taxiways.
People expecting to meet passengers on arriving planes, as well as those flying out of KCI, were urged to check www.flykci.com for the status of their flights.
