The number of adults who think they have a food allergy
is almost double the figure who actually have one, research has revealed

“Millions of Americans might be mistaken about their self-professed food allergy, suggests a new survey. It found that while nearly 20 percent of people said they had a food allergy, only half as many people reported the sort of symptoms you’d expect from eating something you’re allergic to.” [Millions of Americans Are Wrong About Having a Food Allergy, Study Suggests]

Lies verses reality, without the Living God crossing out your opinions you will believe lies.

Think it is difficult to convince someone that falsely believes they have a food allergy of the truth, try attempting the Truth with those who think they are close to God.

It takes a suffering cross applied to one’s life by the hand of God before anyone will accept let alone understand the Truth. (See concept.)

Most have a lying reaction to the Bread of Life and will continue to do so until they soften their hearts.

Until their hearts soften, they will buy yeast from the Pharisees, or religious leaders/authors of the day.

The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat.

“Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.”

They discussed this with one another and said, “It is because we have no bread.”

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them:

“Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand?

Are your hearts hardened?

Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? (Mark 8:14-18)

“On the whole, Gupta added, anyone who thinks they’re not able to handle a particular food for whatever reason should ask their doctor to get to the bottom of it, and not self-diagnose.” [Millions of Americans Are Wrong About Having a Food Allergy, Study Suggests]

Aw, the old outside opinion sage advice, do not self-diagnose.

True, if only individuals would seek God’s Spirit of Truth by way of a crucified life.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth;… (John 16:13-15)

“Lactose intolerance is probably the best known example of this, and it happens because many adults are less able to break down lactose, the sugar commonly found in dairy products, into simpler sugars. Another genetic condition, celiac disease, makes people unable to digest gluten. Some people also seem to have delayed immune reactions to food without IgE in the picture, though we’re less sure about how commonly this happens and how to accurately diagnose it. Many doctors, for instance, criticize tests that promise to find these so-called food sensitivities with ease.

It’s likely then, the researchers say, that people might be mixing up a food intolerance or sensitivity with a food allergy.”

“The number of adults who think they have a food allergy is almost double the figure who actually have one, research has revealed.

While the study was conducted in the US, experts say a similar situation is also seen in other countries, including the UK. The researchers found that many people with an allergy do not have a prescription for potentially life-saving medication, while others might be avoiding foods unnecessarily.”
