CNN | Areva Martin’s Failed Powerplay
It was a rough day for author and CNN legal analyst Areva Martin on Tuesday.
Martin accused Sirius XM radio and Fox Nation host David Webb of “white privilege” during a segment on a radio program before he broke the news.
“Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepped. I’m black,” Webb said.[CNN legal analyst Areva Martin accuses David Webb of ‘white privilege’ before learning he’s black | Fox News]
“A civil rights attorney was embarrassed live on air Tuesday when she was scolded by a radio host she said possessed white privilege.
Areva Martin, who describes herself as an ‘advocate, commentator, author, TV host and producer’ was speaking on David Webb’s Sirius XM radio program about experience being more important than race when it comes to landing a job role.
However the co-host of Face the Truth on CBS and CNN Legal Analyst seemingly made the mistake of assuming the presenter’s race when he claimed he had never regarded his race as a barrier when obtaining work.”[Civil rights attorney forced to apologize for saying BLACK radio host has ‘white privilege’ | Daily Mail Online]

Of course, this is what happens when self is your focus, when you look for, create and make up insults to apply to others.
This is the kind of word-play one witnesses when an individual knows they have a loosing arguement. Such individuals are loosers for all the wrong reasons.1
Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity. (Proverbs 21:23)
- “I stand corrected,” Areva Martin said.”

Areva Martin’s “I stand corrected,” is not acceptable because there is no humility, repentance and cleaning up of her heart.
There is no acknowledgment that she is using an argument, being argumentive about white privilege for selfish gain. A false-flag white priveledge argument devoid of reason, reasonability and responsibility for one’s own actions. (See Seattle’s, King County Judge Susan Craighead / Racist Division)
There is no renouncing of it as a sin against God that Areva Martin is using her blackness to powerplay against whites — thus making herself a first class, ok, a second class hypocrite for doing the same thing she when she accuses one of white privilege. In short, it is the opposite of godly love.
Thank God I belong to Jesus.
Because in Him there is no such thing as whiteness or blackness only selfless love expressed as God wills and works His love.
Ms. Areva of CNN is missing all the freedom to love others because of her lusts for power and attention.
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
“Fox Nation host David Webb joined “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning after one of his radio segments went viral when a CNN legal analyst mistakenly accused him of showing “white privilege.”
Webb hosted Areva Martin on his Sirius XM show Tuesday, discussing whether a person’s race should factor into hiring decisions. Webb said he has “never considered my color the issue” and relied on his experience to grow professionally in the media world.
“That’s a whole, another long conversation about white privilege, the things that you have the privilege of doing, that people of color don’t have the privilege of,” said Martin, who also hosts CBS’ “Face the Truth.””[MUST-SEE: David Webb Joins ‘Fox & Friends’ After CNN Analyst Called Out His ‘White Privilege’ | Fox News Insider]

“The embarrassing moment occurred during a discussion about experience being more important than race when determining whether or not someone is qualified for a particular job.
“I’ve chosen to cross different parts of the media world, done the work so that I’m qualified to be in each one. I never considered my color the issue, I considered my qualifications the issue,” Webb said.
“That’s a whole, another long conversation about white privilege, the things that you have the privilege of doing, that people of color don’t have the privilege of,” said Martin – who also hosts CBS’ “Face the Truth.”

““You see, you went to white privilege; this is the falsehood in this,” Webb replies. “You went immediately with an assumption. Your people, obviously, or you didn’t look.
Martin apologizes repeatedly for her false accusation, adding that “her people” gave her the wrong information.
“You’re talking to a black man . . . who started out in rock radio in Boston, who crossed the paths into hip-hop, rebuilding one of the greatest black stations in America and went on to work at Fox News where I’m told apparently blacks aren’t supposed to work, but yet, you come with this assumption, and you go to white privilege,” Webb says. “That’s actually insulting.”
Martin has not publicly acknowledged the incident. A spokeswoman for Martin declined to comment.”[CNN analyst Areva Martin calls out black SiriusXM host David Webb’s ‘white privilege.’ – The Washington Post]
