Working Mothers | Fat Children

“A study carried out by University College London looked at 20,000 families, and is the first to link mums who work to the weight of their children.

Professor Emla Fitzsimons told The Sunday Times: “We find that children whose mothers work are more likely to have increased sedentary behaviour and poorer dietary habits.””

All women are to focus their energy, talents and wisdom upon selflessly loving their children at home. All men are to love such wives, but how could it be otherwise? No godly husband could ignore such a life of selfless love.

– T. Williams –

Godly mothers always deserve credit.

Jehoshaphat son of Asa became king of Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.  Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-five years. His mother’s name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.

In everything he followed the ways of his father Asa and did not stray from them; he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD. The high places, however, were not removed, and the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there.

(1 Kings 22:41-43)

Righteousness always ends in benefit of reward from God.

Holiness given mercifully from the Living God always blesses others even if they desire not the blessing.

Selfless love, heavenly love expressed willingly gives up its careers, talents, and wisdom to overshadow another with a tenderness only an honest mother can provide.

Such is God’s good wisdom.

Such is God’s design and plan for all women.

Those who belong to a Cultural Christianity know not the way of God’s love. In any church, when it comes to women, young women and girls their perfect design are to raise, protect and love children. Naturally, an ungodly woman is of ill-use to her children, but the point at the moment is God designed women and all the women in a church to be busy at home. Maternity leave isn’t going to cut it.

Being busy at home is the foundational stones by which mature young women and men are raised. The evil you see growing in society is a direct result of parents abandoning their children for the love of self. Something Jesus foretold would take place.1

Women, if you desire to have the most boys grow up to be men respectful of women full of self-control then be busy at home. No ministry, career, intelligence, talent, goal or me-time is worth the destruction of a child.

The church community in a congregation should see all women-focused in on being busy at home ~ especially with the older women teaching the younger women how to love their husband.

You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine.

Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled.

(Titus 2:1-6)

This Fat Study is one of those duh-of-course studies. If mothers stayed home with their children everything would be down. Abuse down, violence down, corruption down, lying down, anti-social behavior down, rotten TV down …you name it, from weight all would be down.

That is if the government would get out of the way and empower women once again to be mothers through a repentant life.

“It’s estimated around one in every five children aged ten to 11 year olds are obese, with a third of children aged two to 15 overweight or obese.

And Public Health England says, nearly half of kids are overweight in parts of the UK, with seven out of the fattest areas in Britain located in London.

Last year we told how a blogger came under fire after posting a hand-written chart comparing working and stay-at-home mums.”
